This year, the judging panel for the Oil & Gas Middle East and Refining & Petrochemicals Middle East Awards received a competitive crop of candidates for each of the 10 award categories. Each candidate was scrutinised until the judging panel was able to decide on a shortlist, and ultimately one winner and one ‘highly commended’ were chosen.
Geoscience Train Programme will play an important role in ensuring a smooth transition between generations and helping to develop new crew of employees to sustain the company’s success for decades. The programme offers a golden opportunity for the trainees to make proper decisions to steer the workforce in the right direction at the right time.
“We have put together this programme to accelerate the development of young talent, accelerate the transfer of knowledge, and to put the foundation of expertise within two years from their entry. They are set on a specialty track after that,” said Aus Al Tawil, manager of Southern Reservoir Characterisation Department at Saudi Aramco.
