The group was awarded in the ‘Digital and Technology’ category for the development and implementation of innovative solutions across their service stations network.
The theme of this year’s IdeasUK was ‘Power of Ideas’ that focused on the most innovative and sustainable solutions across different verticals. The ‘Idea of the Year’ category recognised an idea that made an improvement by using novel manufacturing, engineering, construction, or technical solution, including the use of digital technology and media.

This year’s edition of the IdeasUK witnessed a substantial number of submissions by corporations across the world. The winners were shortlisted after a thorough evaluation by an esteemed panel of judges including Dr Ayesha Al Mutawa, director of Strategy & Future Department, UAE Ministry of Health & Prevention; Stuart Laws, UK Ministry of Defence Idea Scheme; and Michael Davies, global head of idea management, HSBC Bank.
The shortlisted applicants also had one-on-one interactions where the judges evaluated ideas, implementation and the viability of the solutions.
For over three decades, IdeasUK has been at the forefront of employee innovation and engagement with the aim to introduce and enhance innovation at workplace and promote it worldwide.
