GPCA Responsible Care conference to take place in Jubail in October

The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) announced that the 3rd Responsible Care Conference will take place during 14-16 October 2019 in Jubail, Saudi Arabia under the patronage of Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Eastern Region Province governor, Saudi Arabia.

As the only regional event dedicated to the Responsible Care programme, this edition will be exceptional in many ways, key among which is celebrating the 10-year anniversary since Responsible Care was adopted in the Arabian Gulf and showcase key milestones and success stories from across the region.

Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud will inaugurate the conference with a welcome speech on 15 October.

This high level gathering of senior industry leaders will present an unmissable opportunity to hear from world-class industry experts from the region and globally including Yousef Al-Benyan, vice chairman and CEO, SABIC, and chairman, GPCA, and Cal Dooley, president and CEO, American Chemistry Council, who will present their insight on Responsible Care.

The engaging three-day programme will cover topics such as process safety, circular economy, regulatory collaboration, models of excellence and Responsible Care beyond the fence.

Held under the theme ‘Responsible Care – Celebrating a Decade of Excellence’, the conference will showcase best regional learnings across the chemical and petrochemical sector and define the future direction for Responsible Care companies in the region. Word-class industry leaders will share their accomplishments in the areas of environment, health, safety and security (EHS&S) across the entire value chain.

The conference will provide a unique opportunity to network and learn from renowned international and regional industry experts about Responsible Care leadership, EHS&S operational advancements, regulatory collaboration, and the industry’s future direction.
