What are some of the key points that are going to be highlighted?
Bechtel teams have technical know-how to execute front-end engineering and design for a wide variety of licensed technologies. We then leverage the engineering package to a set of favourable project economics in order to improve efficiency for our customers.

What are some of the key trends in downstream technology that you think the industry should be paying more attention to? And why?
We will continue to see tightening of air emissions regulations as a way to protect human health and the environment. The industry should continue to watch for new technologies for base chemicals production that consume less energy and produce less air emissions than conventional technologies.

Have you got any predictions for the refining and petrochemical sectors in the Middle East in 2019-2020?
Changes in the marine fuel sulphur limits are expected to be a primary disruptor to the global refining market in 2020. Longer term, growth of fossil fuel demand is expected to slow in the transportation sector, which has prompted many companies to explore the use of fossil fuels for petrochemical feedstocks.
