Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the 2019 Abu Dhabi World Energy Congress will be the world’s largest and most influential energy gathering, bringing together stakeholders from across the globe to ignite action on how to resolve the world’s energy challenges and ensure energy delivers a prosperous future.

At the Congress, the DoE will share its expertise as the key policymaker in charge of driving the diversification of energy sources in line with Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2030 and in partnership with local, regional and international players. Being the catalyst towards greater economic, environmental and social sustainability for the emirate of Abu Dhabi aligns closely with the theme of the 2019 Congress, ‘Energy for Prosperity’.

The partnership with DoE will ensure a conversation on the constantly evolving energy industry that is both future-proofed and grounded in sustainability. It will also place the UAE 2050 Energy Strategy to develop clean energy, curb energy demand and manage emissions at the forefront of the debate.
