Borouge has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification by ABS Quality Evaluations (ABS QE) after successfully completing the upgradation audits for its certification standards across the whole organisation’s offices.
The achievement of receiving this certification is attributed to Borouge’s strict commitment to quality and the efforts of the leadership in ensuring a strong quality management system, which significantly contributes to the company’s path of growth.
Ahmed Omar Abdulla, CEO of Borouge, received the new ISO 9001:2015 certification, which was handed over by Dominic Townsend, vice president, Management System Certification (International) of ABS Global, during a special ceremony that was held at Borouge’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Throughout the audits conducted by ABS QE in December 2017 at various locations of Borouge, including Abu Dhabi, China, Singapore and India, the company demonstrated conformance to the ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements.
