ADNOC Distribution's reputation as the UAE’s leading fuel retail brand has been confirmed for the third year in a row at the World Branding Awards in London.
ADNOC Distribution was awarded the ‘Brand of the Year’ in the UAE petrol/gas station category at the prestigious global awards ceremony, held at Kensington Palace in London and hosted by David Croft of Sky Sports.
Commenting on the award, Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, acting CEO, ADNOC Distribution, said, “We are honoured to be voted a Brand of the Year for a third year running at the World Branding Awards. The prize confirms ADNOC Distribution’s market-leading position in the UAE and recognises our strong brand equity.”
The World Branding Awards are organised by the World Branding Forum, a non-profit organisation. It selects winners based on brand valuation (30%), public online voting (30%) and consumer market research (40%). For the latter score, the World Branding Forum’s research department conducts one-on-one telephone interviews in all countries that are selected for the awards.
Past winners of World Branding Awards include Apple, Lego, Louis Vuitton, McDonald’s, Nestlé and Samsung.
ADNOC Distribution also received a ‘UAE Superbrand’ award for 2017 from the Superbrands Council, a global body that evaluates and recognises corporate branding and positioning. ADNOC Distribution has been ranked a Superbrand four years in a row.
