Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) has launched a new logistic service in Egypt’s Suez free zone of Ataqa, in order to store and support the company products in Egypt, the company said in a statement.

QAPCO vice chairman and CEO Mohammed Yousef Al Mulla said during the launch ceremony that the goal of establishing representation offices, logistic facilities and regional warehouses in Egypt is to emphasize QAPCO presence in global markets, highlighting the significance of Egypt as one of the most strategic markets in the Middle East.

Al Mulla noted QAPCO’s keenness on being present in Egypt since the inception of the company’s office there in 2002 and the establishment of the first logistic services facility in Al-Adabia in 2007 to serve clients.

By establishing the new logistic services facility in Suez free zone, QAPCO aims to cover the needs of its local customers in Egypt, Al-Mulla said referring to Egypt as the regional center for exporting QAPCO products to Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
